On that path we find a life that is full to overflowing with the rewards and goodness of God. No one desires to struggle; all of us want to experience the best for our lives. But the best doesn't come without cost...there is a price we must pay. In order to experience the blessings of God, we must first willingly conform our will to the will of our Father.

Remember, blessings come only when we pursue God's will for our lives.

Daily Confession
Father, I thank You that I am willing and obedient and I eat the best of the land. The old stories, the old beliefs (note the LIE in belief) are not us, but only the voice of the ego, a thought construct. Change the thought, or silence it to allow Presence, and the struggle goes away.

What a concept!

Re: The Belief Called Struggle

Thank you Mike for remind me this truth.Truly I was conditioned to believe the word struggle; but it has never convinced me.Successful people are not STRUGGLING.Victorious people are not STRUGGLING.I do not believe that by struggling we can reach or do anything worthwhile.Looking back I can see clearly that all my success did not happen because of the struggle but through EFFORT.You are right.

Re: The Belief Called Struggle

Thank you Mike for your great generosity with all your really, really worthy reminders, thoughts end insigths of life´s endless possibilities when I open myself for them...

Re: The Belief Called Struggle

Hey Mike!

This is a great blog post! I think it's very true that sometimes all it takes is a little "convincing" yourself that things are easy, and as you think about it, you bring about circumstances that will make that happen - the law of attraction! =)

I also use the Ho'oponopono method devised by the Hawaiaan's.. Basically, you just say to yourself the words, "I love you", "I'm sorry", "Please forgive me" and "Thank you" over and over again.

If you're as curious as me as to how this works when I first heard it, you can read all about the Ho'oponopono method here.

P.S. Your post today really resonated and clarified that I still hold too many junk beliefs, one of which is that I have always been taught that everything is supposed to be a struggle. I guess I still have a way to go in consistently maintaining a 100% abundance mentality. Thanks again

Rick

Re: The Belief Called Struggle

Mike... once again that was great!

For many years my intention to do something was very strong but the underlying thoughts I had going around and around in my brain were that it was too difficult, not easy for me... and so on - typical sabortage stuff! When I started to become more conscious of my thoughts and my self talk and changed those which were negative into more positive, I began achieving what I set out to... and the struggle and the effort fades away.

Jeanne
http://www.goalsnaspiration...

Re: The Belief Called Struggle

Mike-you do a great job of motivating others. I'm so grateful that I trusted a higher part of myself to let you teach me more. That was 2 years ago. After shaking off many of my fears and doubts, and continually putting in the effort I am now beginning to notice some real results.

Junk beliefs like life's hard, we must work hard and struggle to make it big, or we usually don't get what we wish for are all small, self-sabotage ego talk. We let those old outdated beliefs run our lives. I find another junk belief to be just as irritating, the small self ego talk of 'just play it safe'. We say that to ourselves everyday, and live our lives accordingly. We find a secure feeling in doing things this way.

It's a false sense of SECURITY though. Because I have found in all areas of my life whether it was in relationships, work, or career believing playing it safe most of the time is what messes so many people up, and almost never brings them more of what they really want. Usually less.

It did me until I was 47. Now please keep in mind that you can not always go out on a limb-beyond your comfort zone-in every single thing you set out to do. You will definitely take some unnecessary falls if you do. That would be a dangerous mentality to take. Don't overkill on it.

But, every once in a while, trust your inner instincts. Challenge yourself to accomplish more. And more importantly, lower your expectations in how fast you will be able to reach your goal. Be realistic, don't judge what another has managed to do and think you should also be able to reach it in that amount of time. Above all else do it at a nice steady pace that is good for you so you won't burn out on it and give up too soon (you never know how close you might actually be to getting what you want). Be open to learning every day, and never assume you will ever know it all.

With that being said...I'm so glad I took a chance on you Mike!

Brenda
<a href="http://www.mywater4life.com<My Water 4 Life
